My name is Jasmine Banks, I am a 5th-year Ph.D. Candidate in Psychology and Digital Studies at the University of Michigan. ​I am currently a Rackham Merritt Fellow in the Personality and Social Context area working with Dr. Isis Settles and Dr. Monique Ward.
I also work with Dr. Apryl Williams in the Digital Studies Institute and Department of Communications and apart of the Reparative AI Research team through the Humanities Collaborative at the University of Michigan.

I run an academic Instagram @jasthephdstudent where I share content about my grad school experience, tips on grad school applications, academic research tools and just everyday life. I started this channel in 2020 during my first year of my Ph.D. program.
Since I started this page, Ive advanced to candidacy but it feels way to late to change my name!
